I put 2 swarm traps back up yesterday. Caught a swarm today, and possibly a second one.

I caught a small swarm with my swarm box in the background. Small in size. Could have been a secondary swarm from the one I had last week.

One of my hives swarmed. 80 ft up. Dang.

No swarms my way but 1 hive that has a capped qc and no eggs. I checked them last weekend and will check them next weekend. I figured this upcoming warm weekend will probably trigger some swarms. I have my swarm boxes out misted queen commander.

Caught a swarm yesterday. It looked to be one of my hives, possible secondary swarm. Swarm commander and tinging brought them to the ground, right in some poison ivy. I placed a frame with dark comb on the ground and a bunched walked on. I placed it in an empty hive nearby and they all walked in.

Do you plan to try it again in the future on a another hive to see if your results differ?

What is the correlation between a dark queen and an afterswarm?

2 Swarms at my yard today. One I'm pretty sure it's mine and was able to get it in a box using swarm commander and tinging.
However, the other I just happened to see it up about 12 feet in the tree. I plan to get it down tomorrow. Wish me luck.
