Yesterday was beautiful, sun shining, birds singing and bees flying. Seemed like a great day to set a swarm trap.

I strapped together 2 5 frame Nuc boxes, put in 2 frames of old black comb and set it on a stump in the yard. Now the waiting begins.

I'm showing signs of interest in my swarm trap. This coming week is going to be at or near 80. I noticed a couple of queen cups in a couple of my hives yesterday.
