They have been slow at building up the foundation, but they are getting there. The queen right hive got the deep first, and I just ...

I told L&H you would be mad when you got on the computer and seen that you missed it. Don't worry. There'll be other times. Cliff and L&H and cliff's 13 y/o buddy did a fine job. We got them home and unloaded by the time it got fully dark. By the way, I bought them to resale. I will have nuc...

To quote ski..."What I did see were 3 queen cells 2 have been completed." That takes about 2 weeks. 3 minus 2 equals 1. If it took ski over a week to order, receive, install and her start laying, he would be on time with raising one. Also, he would have known genetics, rather than unknown ...

Those boys like MACHO bees. They don't want those gentle, sissy bees. :D I just hope they confirmed eggs in the frame they moved. They can't make a queen from larva more then a few days old. Jessica's hive is one I vacuumed out of a house last year. I may have damaged her in the vacuum system. If so...

>>>>Sounds like supercedure cells! If the colony is strong still and you want to make honey from it, you might be better re-queening than letting them raise their own. <<<< I would let them raise their own. Kurt would buy a queen and destroy the supercedure cells. That is where personal preference k...

It would be a good idea to take a frame containing eggs from Taeler's hive, brush off all the bees, and add it to Jared's hive. Trade it for an empty frame from Jared's hive. >>>>Should we do some...

No, but she has been at most all club meetings since I joined.
If you will post your question, maybe I can contact Jerry or George. I know they will be at the Randolph meeting May. 1st.
