I noticed the same thing over on Rankin Place. They seemed to be busy when it was warm. I got a feeding in during the warm spell. Guessing ought do an inspection soon if we can get above 55. The seasonal forecast I saw suggest a warmer milder winter....

I have one colony that just will not tolerate inspections. Compared to the others, this one is the most defensive. Guess that means the best thing to do would be to re-queen?

Had plenty of food but not enough bees.
Looks like I lost the queen earlier. It had been cool/cold enough I had not gone in for a couple of months. Had two mediums of honey.
These were combos of a removal and a swarm.
