What signs of laying worker did you see. If you were seeing more than 2 eggs in cells and/or eggs on top of pollen, those would indicate laying worker. Damaged Comb
I have several frames of wax that were damaged last year from wax moths. Some of them just have a little bit of cocoon in the cells and others are more damaged. Is it possible to reuse these frames? Will the bees clean them out, or should I get new frames?

Thanks! I added another box a few days ago so they should have enough room. I'll check to see if they go back in the hive later when it gets a little cooler.

Lots of bees on the ground
Recently, we have noticed that there have been a lot of bees outside our hives on the ground. They are alive but just sitting on the ground or hanging off of the side of the hive. Should I be concerned about this?
