If i remember correctly, on the other website it was said that it probably contains cornstarch, which is no good for bees

Late to the party , but still here with a drink in hand... Sandoz used to manufacture our strain of BT, they sold out to Valent in late 1990's . Xentari BT, is a recognized Organic insecticide. It is used in Cabbage farming and other green products, and Farmers using it may still call their produce Organic. Our BBG Club members in turn are always looking for bulk honey too , by the gallon usually.

A good bed on ground is supposed to help against Small Hive beetle larvae .... having said that i bought a large bag but did not use it last year.

started using wood ashes from fire which is also supposed to work.

of course after rain you have to replace it each time ...
