Just checker boarded/supered my hives a few days ago. Hope it's not too late to curb potential swarming...Anybody else checkerboard, and if so how early this year did you do it? Also, anybody found swarm cells yet? Gonna try and check this afternoon for some....

Marked queen cleaned?
I'm interested in what some of you guys that mark your queens think of this...I marked the queen of my strongest hive with acrylic paint a week 1/2 ago. Friday I did a light inspection and found her....unmarked! Not even a spec of paint. I may have 2 queens or a cleaned queen...before I know for sur...

Hey everyone, got a potential problem. Picked up and installed package from Brush Mt on March 23. Waited till March 30 to check on queen. She was released but no eggs(I did notice that the workers filled the one precious drawn comb I provided w/nectar). Just checked again this afternoon and 4/5 fram...
