sugar prices
I was at Just Save in Graham at lunch today,they have sugar five pounds for 1.99$. Is that a good price? I don't do a lot of shopping.

I have never been to a state meeting so being this close I want to go. I can't spend the three days there but I would like to see the vendors and displays. Question is, do I have to register to do that or is registration for the classes? Hows this all work?

That's what I did, dropped them about a foot into a cardboard nuc. They did not appreciate it. By the way I've heard people say beekeepers get immune to stings, just how many stings does that take. My arm is swelled tight as a tick.

I had a good size swarm last night when I went to check on my bees. I immediately went and collected my swarm catching supplies and got to the task at hand. I spritzed them with sugar water and tried to drop them in a nuc. Not a big problem but they were about 15 feet up in a tree. I must have done ...

I have bought a few things from them. I needed some deep foundation on a Sunday, it was nice being able to go get it. They are reasonably priced, cheaper than ordering and paying shipping.

what's the correct mixture to feed now? I just looked at two of my hives and they are dead. It looks like they starved. I was counting on a good fall flow that did'nt happen.

I talked to a fellow beek today who told me he was feeding sugar syrup, three gallons a week to a few hives. Should we be feeding this time of year? Mine are working hard bringing in something. just wandering
