Wow, that is a nice colony, how long had they been there? The comb looks nice and white, like it is new. Where was this one at Wally? Did you take them out? Kind of nice not having to tear out the wall, but I guess working in a crawl space is a bit difficult though. Did you get the queen?

This year's swarm. White wax and clear honey. A townhouse in Winston-Salem. Don't know about the queen yet.

SKI cut them out. All I did was vacuum.

The cutouts and trap outs are always an adventure and its fun when you have Wally there with the equipment and experience. Looking forward to doing many more.

I checked the hive today. Many queen cells and nectar and pollen coming in. Looking good.
