For those of us who are fogging, please share what you are seeing. For those of you who are using other methods, please share that also. I will say that the thing that concerns me the most about fogging is the way the bees seem to "attack" each other when the fog is first intoduced. It's like they are buddies then wham, they attack each other. It is only 10 or so bees that do this. But all in all I would say I like the fogging. Nice and easy.
I am a big fan of thymol based products and will need to wait until the temps are between 60 and 90 in order to use my Apiguard. Probably another month.
I have been fogging once a week for the last 5 weeks and got a mite count today of 40+ using the 24 hour sticky board.
What would you all suggest at this point add additional foggings per week or jump to something stronger? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I had read that and was planning on trying it for the next fogging.
I have been fogging them through the screened bottom board. They are setting on cinder blocks so I block up the back side with some boards and fog from the front 3-4 good blasts. It usually comes out the top after I am done.
