i am planning on starting two hives this spring, i have been told that getting nucs is the best way to start, what do you guys think? also do you know of anyone in the area that sells nucs? i live in southeast greensboro, kinda near the mall.

The club is selling nucs if they aren't sold out. Kurt should be posting soon on that. If they are sold out, some of the members will have a few nucs in Apr. or May.

We will find you a couple somewhere.

I currently have 4 Russian nucs available through GCBA at $85 each.
Russians are extremely difficult to get and thus the price.
I am working on the possibility of some packages of Italians out of Georgia. The price and date are not known at this time (pretty exciting huh? :shock: .
More details as time goes on.

I expect that packages will Run around $55 each (3 lbs and queen).
These should be available around April 1st.
