Country rubes combo bottom board

Post by ski »

I got a country rubes combo board today that I had ordered to see just how nice they are, well, they are pretty nice. It has a full screened bottom, the slide in sheet for mite counts can go in the front or back of the board or on top of the screen to act like a solid bottom. There is a smoke hole on the back side that may be used for fogging but seems a bit small. The whole thing has a waxy feel to it as they have dipped it rosin and wax dip. I am not selling these things but if anyone would like to see it I can bring it to the next meeting on January 8th.

Screen size

Post by ski »

A few people asked what the screen size was in the Country Rubes bottom board that we had at the meeting tonight (January 8th)

The screen in the bottom board has 8 squares per inch and would therefore be No. 8 screen.
