The link below is to a NCSU Entomology class entitled An introduction to the Honey Bee and Beekeeping instructor John Ambrose. This link was picked up from the wake county beekeeping site so not sure about the proprietary right to pass it along but here it is anyway.
This is NOT a beekeeping class but may be interesting, I have not made it all the way through the 8 lectures yet.
The first lecture is some history and an overview of the class.

I appreciate your interest in Dr. Ambrose’s ENT 203 course lectures. However, I do not have or never have had any control over those, as John posted them as an emeritus of our program and not part of it. With his passing, NCSU will no longer be offering ENT 203 as DE and that’s likely why DELTA (our distance ed division) likely took the links down. I will let them know, however, that they will be fondly missed.

For those of you who have 20+ hours of time with nothing better to do, I highly recommend this lecture.
I was originally taught by Dr. Ambrose when I first started beekeeping. His techniques and building blocks for understanding bees and beekeeping are quite impressive. I even found him to be right most of the time during his lecture.
