After the Storm

Post by mike91553 »

I had several hives as well as trees blow over Monday night. Some had frames fall out and bees and brood got wet and others the boxes stayed together with little damage. I attempted to add pictures but not sure if it worked.

The storm took my power out. I just got it back about 6 pm tonight.

Pics must be on the internet, such as photobucket, before you can post them. You can't post pics that are only on your computer.

That don't look like straight line wind. I think you had a bit of twist in that storm. I've had 80 mile winds that didn't do that much damage.

I am not sure , about everything was blown from south to north but we did hear an awful roar when we woke at 3 in the morning. We had 2 large trees go down and one of them flattened a big shed on my old barn where my supers are stored. One stack of supers (all undamaged) are partially holding up the shed.
