Herb,
I got a bit confused as to how many boxes you have in total and where the brood is, not just bees, but eggs, larvae and capped brood.
Just some thoughts.

The bottom hive body (medium) has the brood & eggs also the queen bee and a bunch of bees

2 total mediums / boxes

top (medium) has food and and bees

let me know if you need any other information

Seeing great build up this year.

Lost a hive a month back , was very weak heading into winter due to mites. But all other three are booming, the Wayne's bees have no issues, the swarm hive is doing excellent but can see mites in Drone cells. But the growth is impressive.
