sugar prices

I was at Just Save in Graham at lunch today,they have sugar five pounds for 1.99$. Is that a good price? I don't do a lot of shopping.

I think what they have on sale is a 4 pound bag, but that's about the cheapest I have run across--just at/under 50 cents/pound.

Aldis in Asheboro has the 5 lb. bags for 2.48. About the same as 1.99 for 4 lb.

David and I were at Costco Friday picking up supplies for field day. The 50lb bag of sugar is under $19.00 before taxes. This is the cheapest I have seen it in quite awhile.
