Dandelions

Post by specialkayme »

I know Phil saw his shadow today, but I was taking the pup for a walk and noticed (on two separate occasions) a dandelion in bloom.

It's about 6 weeks too early (on average), even though this year appears to be moving slower than average, and these little weeds beat out the Red Maple, but still a good reminder that spring is not too far away.

I'm still WAY behind in where I wanted to be, equipment wise, by now. Already built 10 deep boxes, 6 tops, and 140 frames. Still need to build another 15 deep boxes, 20 medium boxes, 320 frames and 12 tops before I can call myself "ready" for spring though . . . .

You better hurry. My hives have fresh pollen and nectar in them. Other than Maple, I don't know where yhey may be getting it.
