The 2014 National Honey Bee Day Theme:
"Sustainable Gardening Begins with Honey Bees"


National Honey Bee Day Fun Family Event
Date: Saturday, August 16, 9 AM – 12 noon


Location: Guilford County Cooperative Extension – Extension Demonstration Garden 3309 Burlington Rd., Greensboro

Join us for a day of “Be Friendly to Bees” activities in Extension's Demonstration Garden.
Activities will include:

• Guided tours showcasing plants that attract bees
• Beekeepers hosting honey tasting and honey sales
• Children’s Story Book time and activities
• Educational exhibits
• Scavenger hunt
• Farmer Brown’s Provisions local produce truck selling produce that results from pollination

This event is free.

Come out on August 16 and help us celebrate National Honey Bee Day!
