I was curious if anyone around here has tried the newest gadget versus spinning.

Looks like it is pretty expensive to me. Maybe someone with allot more money has tried it and I am curious to see if it really works.

Something tells me there is more involved than turning a handle or maybe I just like getting stung.

I haven't looked at the literature on this "self tapping" honey super. Is there a way of seeing that frames are capped before cracking the comb so that the water content of what is being tapped is not too high? I haven't had too many seasons where I had fully capped supers. I have removed 7-9 capped sometimes. I don't normally use queen excluders and leave brood frames alone when removing honey. Will they be a necessity with this device?

I look forward to seeing how this develops.
