Judy Faircloth notified me of Norm's passing on Wednesday afternoon. Norman was a master beekeeper, a multiple office holder in our association, a faculty member of our beginner course, and the long time editor of our GCBA newsletter. He was one of three beekeepers to be awarded a lifetime membership in the Guilford County Beekeepers Association for his many contributions to our organization. Norman had also served on the executive committee of the NCSBA.
