If you and I have a cold that lasts for 7 days and you use nothing and I use ""breathing in a paper bag"", does breathing in a paper bag cure colds?
Most LC beeks are seeing the same results as SC beeks. That's why it is a quagmire.

My statement was to point out that there is no silver bullet.
Yes, please consider it as part of IPM.
When I did my initial investigation of small cell, I asked the public for verification of results but no one would step forward and stand behind their successes or failures.
I do not believe that the scientific community has embraced SC as viable. If I remember correctly, ABJ did some inconclusive studies a few years back.
Best of luck.

Just for conversation sake, the bee magazines I read are plastered with 75% advertisements for all sorts of chemical pest control for your bees. They always speak of doom and gloom for the bees and the beekeeper. When I read those magazines I come away feeling that my bees are never going to survive without the latest and greatest perscription out on the market. So any study they do I am just a little leary of. They are, after all, funded by all those advertisements you see in the magaizine. How much money is there in a chemical free, small cell, fogging, powder sugar treatment apiary??? Beekeeping after all is all about money isn't it??
