Creating a Honey Corridor on Surface Mine Sites

Post by Jacobs »

Dr. Tammy Horn, of the Eastern Kentucky University Environmental Research Institute, will be speaking about her efforts to reclaim lands affected by strip mining for the purpose of re-introducing bees and bee-related industries.

This presentation will be TUESDAY, APRIL 6 at 8:00 p.m., on campus at Guilford College. It will be in the Bryan, Jr. Auditorium in the Frank Family Science Center

Location: The Frank Center is designated with an "F" on the map linked below-

There is no charge for the presentation. I have been told to leave time to find parking and that "faculty and staff only" parking spaces are open to visitors after 5:30 p.m.
