Well, I am happy to say, the five frame nuc overwintered very well. In early March, I moved them into a ten frame hive. By the first of April, they were covering 8 1/2 frames of that box, so I gave them a second deep of foundation to start on. They are doing very well. If all goes well, they should be moving up now, getting things ready, and really have a time when the flow hits. I will keep an eye on them over hte next few days, and see about possibly adding one supper, depending on how well they work the second deep.
