Shipping honey to Canada?

Is it legal to ship a small amount of honey to Canada (1 quart) as a gift? I looked on various websites, but could not find a definitive answer. Thanks.

I don't have an answer for you, but if you were planning to use UPS, you might call and ask them about legality and cost. After all, their "That's Logistics" advertising campaign implies they can do almost anything. If you go forward, let us know what you find out.

Just to follow up on this, I sent the package last week via the USPS with the requisite customs forms correctly filled out, and there was no problem.
