Dr. Debbie Delaney is doing a research project comparing DNA from feral and managed colonies. Dr. Delaney started the project at NC state and is continuing the work at the University of Delaware.

I have 11 vials that I will be sending back to Dr. Delaney with 10-20 bees in each vial.
All 11 can be from my apiary or they can be from other apiaries. My goal is to collect all the samples in one day and Fed-Ex the package back (my expense).

If you are around 20 miles from me and interested in having your bees included let me know. A sheet will be included with the persons name and address of the hive.

I will be collecting bees on April 5th or 6th.

You can also E-mail Dr. Delaney.

Rick,
The directions I received indicated to put live or freshly killed worker bees in the vial. I am looking at being at the hive and collecting live bees to go in the vial then documenting the name and address.

Rick,
As mentioned above I will be collecting bees on April 5th or 6th.
I will need an address where the hives are located and you must be present. I will not go into anyones hive without them present.
Please PM me with the address and a contact number.

Thanks,
Ken
