I got a call this evening about 7 PM about a swarm hanging in a small tree, 6 ft. off the ground. The swarm in north of Yanceyville NC, (about 1 hr from Greensboro).
If anyone is interested in this swarm, or if you know of anyone that lives in that area with bees that may want it, call me at 207-3459 and I will get you in touch with the homeowner that has the bees.
He said that afew bees were flying around at his house, most likely scouts, and he would like to get rid of them before they find a home in his house.

bees were still in the tree at 11:30. Someone that he called was coming to get them in 30 minutes, and that was at 10:30. They have not shown up yet?

The bees were saved. Someone from that area ended up getting them, through contact witht he ag agent.
