I'm in the process of making Herbcoop a nuc with a wayne's bees queen. I found her today and she is very fat. Should be laying heavily by next weekend.

Found queen and eggs today. Should be able to judge her pattern by next weekend and let her go to her new home.

They have open brood, but no capped brood. I would like to see the capped brood before releasing them. It is supposed to rain for the next few days. I'll check them after that and there should be capped brood.

I understand and that is a very good plan so we'll see what happens next week.

The girls made the trip home nicely Saturday night and I checked yesterday but with the cold and wind all I saw were about 4 or 6 checking the the outside.
I was able to go outside and sit and watch for about 30 minutes after work today then ate supper then went out again and sat until 7:30 watching all the activity. There were a bunch within the times watching going in and out. Watching them come back being weighted down with pollen and missing the ramp then flying up and in. Looking forward hopefully tomorrow night doing the same then Thursday or Friday adding another Medium super.
