Where to get Nucs

Hi- I'm brand new at this- just built my first hive and the glue is barely dry on the frames. I'm looking for advice on where to get Nucs or a package of bees. It looks like I might be kind of late to the party since most of the people I called (from a web search) have sold all their bees. Any advice would be appreciated- I have no clue what I'm doing :)

Most important, make the next meeting on April 14. That's where you will learn all you need to know and then some. Meanwhile, look on the front page of this site. Click on "beez needs" and call him. If he's out, click on "Triad bee supply" and call him.
If he's out, click on this link and make a bunch of calls.

If all that fails, ask at the April 14 meeting and we will find you some bees. I know a few sources that don't advertize.

PS. Welcome to the forum. Hope to see you here often.

Wally gave good suggestions, BUT, there is NO April 14th meeting. We are having our field day on Sunday, April 19th. Details are in the Upcoming Events section of this board which can also be reached by a link on our home page.
