The Bees Know What They Are Doing??

I'll just have to wait to see how it plays out. I have a small swarm I picked up on July 20th. I assume the queen had flying troubles since it was on the ground. I put it in a 5 frame medium nuc and boosted with nurse bees and a frame of brood from another hive shortly after getting it. As of Monday, it was still at 2 frames of bees. Each frame has a queen. There are remains of a queen cell that looks like the end was cut open by an emerging queen but it also has a hole in the side like the workers opened it up to remove a killed queen.
