I wanted to let know to those Beekeepers that read this forum that you might want to check out the thread on "dwindle disease" in the disease section of Beesource.
I am currently experiencing losses around 70%.
Don Hopkins has agreed to come out and take samples of some of my deadouts to help identify the problem.
I will keep you posted.

I had the opportunity to look into my hives yesterday.
I was quite pleased with what I saw and had many booming colonies. It turns out my losses are probably closer to 60%.
Don Hopkins never came out, so I am unsure what is going on.

Correction to a couple of things.

It turns out that Don did come out but I was not there and the weather was too cold to actually take samples from active hive.
Also the name has been changed to Colony Collapse Disorder. (can't call it a disease if you don't know what it is.)
