Fall/Winter prep and hive configuration

This will be my first winter with bees, so wanted to make sure I'm prepared now that it's Nov and we're getting some cold nights:

I have stopped feeding pollen patties
I have switched from 1:1 to 2:1 sugar syrup (using hive-top feeder)
I have switched the entrance reducer to the smallest opening
I have screened bottom boards, so have inserted the plastic IPM board underneath
I did a FormicPro, 14-day treatment of both hives that ended Sept. 8. Will plan to check mite count again soon (and plan on Oxalic acid vapor this winter?)
I have an all-medium setup, so right now both hives have two medium supers for brood and one medium super full of honey on top (and more honey stored in the freezer if needed)

Does all of this seem right? Anything I'm missing or need to be doing differently?

Thanks!

Ron

I think the only way to improve on that would be to move them to Florida until April. :P :D
