bee types?

Post by yoyo »

Is there a way to identify the type of bees you catch in a swarm. Maybe by the color and/or the bands?

Lets face it, around most areas the bees have mixed over the years.
I think it is safe to say that there are still a majority of Italians being kept by beekeepers. As you said, looks are probably the only indicator that you can depend on.
I am sorry for not much help.
