Wally, Kurt, anyone

There is an extractor for sale on E-bay. Other then the location are there any thoughts on whether its worth the money? ($100-$130)

I sold one identical to it this year for 150.00.
They are nice units and will last forever.
If you do buy it and decide to have it shipped, contact me first. I can get you the cheapest shipping cost. Shipping will still be close to 100.00.

Well it seems as though Kelly still makes the exact same extractor and it sells for much more.

200 - 2 Frame Hand Crank 0048 660.00 39.60
2-Frame Hand Crank Extractor. Tank is 21" diameter x 28" high. Reversible so you don't have to remove the frame to extract both sides. Has a 1 1/2" brass flange, no gate included. Ship wt. 97 lbs.

I think the bigger question is; do you really want a 2 frame extractor?
That means you will have to spin it by hand 5 times for 1 super.

If you keep 5 hives of bees and have a good year you might produce 15 supers of honey. That will really add up time wise in the long run.
I have to recommend a 6, 9 or 12 frame motorized extractor for the long haul.
For the short haul this extractor is worth every penny.

Good luck.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I will be heading up to Pa so I would pick the unit up if I win the auction. I may have to start thinking about a honey house.
Thanks,
