2008 Honey Flow

How much nectar does the sourwood have in this area? I wathced a few bees bee-line straight for a couple of sourwood trees yesterday, around 6 am. I am guessing that the nectar is their in the early hours prior to the heat??
I would have thought that the flow was about over now? WHat are others seeing. I have already harvested the honey, and the two hives are in good shap now for stores. I would think that the nectar they bring in now is just what they are living on.
