observations

Well, I missed all that nice weather last week and couldn't look at my bees until today.
Found 1 deadout, 3 week hives which I combined and the other 60 look really good. Well most of them anyway. better than I thought. It took me 2 1/2 hours to evaluate, feed pollen patties and sugar syrup and do the combination in 3 different bee yards.
Saw a lot of pollen coming in with rapidly expanding brood patterns. Pollen looks to be maple (greenish in color.)
And for those of you wondering, I observed much drone Pupae. Poor little devils didnt make it because they were in between boxes.
