Is it just me or are there more Bumble bees than usual? Their loud buzz is all over my yard. Being new to the honey bee world,,, are there people that raise bumble bees too?

Bumble bees and carpenter bees are out in force now. Everything competes for the Spring build up.
No on around here raises bumble bees that I am aware of. Usually these are reserved for greenhouse pollination.
