one of the nucs that i got had these little critters all over the last frame, any ideas? i asked wally over the phone and he said he thought that they were SHB larvae but i just wanted to make sure i don't have anything else going on. some of the bees as you can see were still dead in the cells. the entire colony seemed really weak compared to the other nuc that i got.

Looks like SHB larvae to me. Did you try brushing or knocking them off that frame? Wax moth larvae usually make tunnels through the comb from pollen stores to pollen stores. I have been killing a fairly large number of adult SHB in the feeders above the nucs, but did not see larvae like that on my frames. One of the nucs I got is very active and the other can be described as lethargic in comparison.

Freeze it and give it back to one of the strong colonies. They will clean it up in no time.

That's what I meant, make SHBcicles.
