NOSEMA !

I know this is posted as a reply to another topic but, I think it's important everyone see it.
My bees were tested for Nosema in mid June, 09.
They were also tested for Varroa and tracheal mites.
They were not showing any symptoms.
The test was offered by state inspector Jack Hanel when he spoke at my local bee club. I was curious so I decided to get my bees tested along with several others in the club.
The results took about a month and showed Nosema spore counts 5 times the amount considered high by the NCSBA.
No tracheal mites and varroa very low.
I treated my bees with Fumagilin-B immediately.
My bees are ok but, if I had not had treated I would have lost some if not all my bees!
I did treat my bees in the spring with Fumagilin-B, I used very warm syrup to dissolve the fumagilin powder which may have made the spring treatment inert. Use cool/room temp. syrup to dissolve the Fumagilin-B.
Please, don't forget to treat with Fumagilin-B in the fall.
