Missed Swarm

Post by Ron Young »

Well,

I came to work this morning, and the off going shift said "did anyone call you about the bees at Chic-Fil-A".. I said no.

They were at the resturant at lunch time yesterday, and there was a swarm in a tree in the parking lot. They did not bother to call me, and what is worse, they did not call their Captain, who was off duty yesterday. He too keeps bees.

Go figure.

We went by the resturant to see if they were still there, and they were gone. I hope that someone from the club got the swarm. It would have been an easy one to get. I still can't believe that the guys yesterday did not call someone!!!

Maybe you should put flyers up , missing bees if seen call.

My hive swarmed Sunday. So I wouldn't be surprised to see some.

Was this the swarm in the Oak Ridge/Hwy 68 area? If so, someone did get that swarm.
