Wally,

Interesting post. I sent him a message. I am curious to see who and exactly where in Whitsett they are. I will see what kind of shape the equipment is in.
Thanks,
Ski

I got a look at the equipment today. Understand this is my opinion and I may be a bit picky. There are at least 30 new frames, a few boxes with used black plastic foundation. Some boxes are rotten some are in ok shape maybe 2-3 boxes that are new and need to be assembled. A couple of old outer covers at least 2 inner covers and 2 metal queen excluders. Several of the boxes have frames with ragged pieces of old comb.

They are still beekeepers with at least 8 hives. This is equipment they got from someone else and they have never had bees in this equipment.

It is all still there, I didn't think it would be fair to pick out the new stuff and leave the marginal and old stuff.

The lady was there but the husband is the bee keeper. She was very nice and understanding and indicated she had 8 or 9 others interested. I told her $75 may be a better price, but maybe she would find someone that would pay the $175 but I was not intrested.

It was fun to just to go and look.

Well, they do say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I too am a bit picky. Anyway..it sounds like it worked out well for all sides in the end. Thanks for the tip Wally and thanks to Ski for the leg work.
