I received a phone call a while back from someone I did not know.
He said you don’t know me but you gave a bee talk at my son’s school several months ago (January 2008) and he has talked about bees ever since. I told him he had to read a few books and he read them. How do we get started in Bee Keeping?
We talked for several minutes and I referred him to the Guilford county web site and the beekeeping class. So they are supposed to sign up for the class.
I figure a lot of the beekeepers that have a few years experience have inspired someone to start beekeeping but this is my first and it was a very uplifting phone call to receive.
