I spoke with a guy in a garden supply shop, and they used to carry it. He said that it would grow here, he just quit carrying it because no one was asking for it. He also said that he was at the Farmers Market on Saturday and that he did not see any there either.
I will keep looking, and let you know.
I seriously doubt that any of the old strains grow well here. There may be some hybrids that do well in this heat.
The retail building most likely carries it at the Piedmont Triad Farmers market as they did last year. Not to plant but to eat.
yeah i had some growing just plant it in part shade, although i lost mine last year when the drought hit. they had it at the lowes off of elm Eugene i got some there and i am going to try it again.
I love a good Rhubarb Pie. I have had one that was Strawberry and Rhubarb also, and it was very good. That really is the only way that I have ever had it. I am sure there are many other good ways to have it fixed.
