Queen Rearing Workshop Deadline Approaching

Post by Jacobs »

If you are interested in attending the Born & Bred in NC queen rearing workshop this spring you need to get your form completed and mailed in. Word is that applications will be accepted until February 12th.

You can get the form by going to the NC Beekeepers reference link on our home page. Click on the Born & Bred in NC announcement as it scrolls on the NC home page and go to the "Events Spring 2010" section. You should see a link to the application in the Born & Bred in NC entry.

I've sent my application.

I'm looking forward to attending the queen rearing workshop.
I think this is a great idea!

"Part of the "Born and Bred" initiative is geared toward existing beekeepers that have a good grasp on seasonal management of hives, and now are ready to take it one step further by raising their own queens."
Everyone has an opinion, this is mine.

I just received my information for the April 14th queen rearing workshop in Winston-Salem. If you signed up for this workshop look for the agenda/schedule in the mail.

I picked the Pittsboro workshop thinking there may be less people, my letter arrived about a week ago and it indicated that they had nearly 90 folks sign up for the workshop. Should be fun!

I received my information for the April 14th queen rearing workshop in Forsyth/Winston-Salem.
My letter arrived today, it stated that over 50 participants registered for this workshop by the deadline.
It should be an interesting day!
