Buckwheat Seed

I have buckwheat seed for sale @ $35 for a 50lb bag.

I have been planting some for my bees to have more nectar after the main flow for several years now. Last year I had over 2 acres and harvested and cleaned the seed.

Buckwheat is a great cover crop and the bees love it! My understanding is that if done right you can turn under and get several crops during the year.

That's right you can get 2 crops easy and sometimes 3 with good weather.
When the seeds turn brown disk it in to cover the seed and with good moisture you will have blooms again in about 4 weeks. Bees really cover it up in the morning hours and leave about noon when the nectar dries up.

This is seed that I grew and harvested last year. If I had to ship it to MS the shipping cost would be nearly as much as the seed.
