Trapout in Greensboro

Post by Jacobs »

I have been contacted by a homeowner near Huffine Mill Road who needs bees trapped out of her home. I have looked at the location and I think we can do it as a club event. Please let me know if you would be interested in participating by posting here and pm'ing me with your contact information if you don't want to post it. If someone wants to provide the hive box and frames with one frame of eggs to use in the trapout, they can have the bees that we collect.

Excellent! I'll keep in touch. I'm going to try and remember to borrow a cone from Wally tomorrow. I put mine on the Blandwood trapout yesterday.

Yes. Someone removed some of the caulking from the tree over winter and this swarm season a new set of bees moved in. The trapout that this post is about is a different trapout. I have 2 people who have expressed an interest in being involved, so we will start it soon.
