shipping

Post by Kurt Bower »

I was just reading a post on Beesource which indicated that some queen suppliers are only using next day service for queen shipments.
If you are not familiar with next day prices, they can hurt!
I am in hopes that Guilford beekeepers would pull together in order to offset the high costs of shipping. But as we all know, beekeepers are a stubborn group.

With Chuck, Frank, Curtis, and Jack in our back yard, I don't understand why anyone would want to ship from outside the area.
I think we should try to keep our money at home.

A request to them for a constant update concerning availability may be in order.

The obvious reason has to do with availability and timing.
I have more than once found Chuck and Jack to be so booked out that they could not help in a bind.
Also if you are looking for queens earlier than April 15 you have to go out of state.
