Well it's started...
Just got a call from a lady in the UNCG area that needs assistance with bee identification and possibly removal.
Could someone call Anna at 336-xxx-xxxx and discuss going over and taking a look at the bees in her back yard. You may want to refer her to the insect identifier on the home page if there is any question about the bees validity.
Very nice lady concerned and does not want to kill but is highly allergic.
thanks.

Re: Bee situation
Unless someone posts that they have called her or want to call, I'll call her tomorrow morning.
Re: Bee situation
I called. It has to be confirmed, but sounds like the little solitary bumblebee that digs a hole in the ground. There are many of them hovering over an area where grass is in short supply. She is going to look at the identify page and call me tomorrow.
Re: Bee situation
Spoke to her again today. Still not firm on ID. If someone is going to be in the area of Aycock and Lee st. tomorrow, give her a call and drop by there.
Re: Bee situation
I can get by there tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon.
Re: Bee situation
Give her a call before going.
Re: Bee situation
I went by this afternoon. There were honey bees on the ground--getting water. Like with my bees, they had been getting in the water in large numbers. She has honey bees nearby, just not in her yard at this point.
