truck swarm

In the process of checking my hives and making splits, I left some boxes with drawn comb in the truck bed for next day use. Of course I put a cover on it and to my surprise the next day as I drove from home yard to out yard I discovered that it was now occupied by a new swarm.
I really cant complain since I caught the swarm and can move it without any effort at my leisure.

WOW how much easier can it get.
So now if they abscond would that mean that they were just looking for a ride to a new location?
