Ratios and other neat calculations

Post by ski »

Someone at the bee meeting asked about how much syrup needs to be fed to fill a frame.
There was a New Zealand site but now this is the only one I could find. I hope it answers your questions. If anyone else has any web sights, calculations or just common sense please add your info as I would also be interested in additional info.

I'm bumping up Ski's post with this calculator. I'm thinking about 1 big sticky that will include really useful tools like this. What do you think?

Rob,
I think its already a sticky under News and Info but it would not hurt to have it in more then one spot.
A big tool sticky is a great idea, "Big Tool Sticky" sounds like a good title. Well maybe not. lol.

I knew you had posted it Ski, I just couldn't remember where. I may just edit and add to the news and info sticky.
