I lost my second hive this week leaving me with 5 out of 10 frames with honey. Should I freeze the frames and leave the honey for new bees I plan to get in the spring or extract the honey so the frames are empty.
any thoughts
Lost all my bees what to do with the honey
Re: Lost all my bees what to do with the honey
Freeze them if you have the room. You don't have to leave them in the freezer. You can remove them after 3--4 days and seal them in plastic bag or bags. Keep them where mice won't get into the bag.

Did you see anything in particular on what happened to your bees?
Mine left as well, only had one hive.
My boss lives in Blewes creek and went to the Forsyth class this Saturday and said there were a lot of bee keepers that were saying they lost their hives and have no idea on what happened
I live in Thomasville and noticed another guy that had 4 hives that are gone as well I'm thinking since they are on their sides that you can see the frames
